Even before most people could read, books have been a bastion of human culture. Books stimulate discussion, provoke thought; they instruct and they inspire. For some, they revolutionise our world view and become the cornerstone of our way of life.

Questions

A whole book? Is the text even legible?
Yes, hard as it may be to believe, each one of our designs contains the full text of the book. Where there are shapes in the design, the words wrap to the edges rather than being removed or shaded. The apparent font size is roughly 4 point which is perfectly legible with the naked eye if you have 20/20 vision, or with light magnification if you don't.

How big are these things?
Most of our posters are A0, which is 84cm x 119cm. This is a readily frameable size. We can, if you ask nicely, print multiple page posters onto one long sheet but be aware that you might not find a 4.7 metre wide piece of glass very easily.

What is the print quality like?
Our posters are printed on lush, satin finish paper with state-of-the-art printing technology. The text is pin-sharp and the paper non-reflective so you can hang and light it exactly as you wish.

What are your frames like?
Frames are in real wood, painted plain black and are hand finished at our framer's in Oxfordshire. Frames add between 10 and 15 centimetres to the height and width measurements and, I must warn you, quite a lot of weight. Please make sure you don't ask your ten year-old daughter to carry them upstairs on her own. Framed prints are shipped to your door at no extra cost.
